Steven Awalt has been busy researching and interviewing cast and crew of the 1984 Joe Dante film Gremlins for the last half-decade. Interviews to date include extensive conversations with Joe Dante, Chris Columbus (screenwriter), Mike Finnell (producer), Frank Marshall (executive producer), cast members including Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, Frances Lee McCain, Corey Feldman, Glynn Turman, John Louie, Belinda Balaski, Frank Welker, and Bob Bergen. He’s also talked at length with the film’s crew, including creature creator Chris Walas and a majority of his crew with CWI, Inc.
There’s no official publication date yet announced for the book, but watch this space for news as it comes to (bright) light.
